UPCOMING EVENTS

• The SWGLA Annual Meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 8th, at 5-7pm at the Embassy Suites in Albuquerque, NM.  The meeting is open to all SWGLA members and interested non-members. For SWGLA members, the meeting will include a complimentary dinner (featuring organic 100% grass-fed beef from Panorama Meats) and cocktails, sponsored by Panorama Organic Grass-fed Meats. For non-members, there will be a a $15 charge for dinner. We will have the premier showing of "Ranching for the Future", a new grass-fed promotional DVD/film. Also, guest speakers Mimi and Tom Sidwell of the JX Ranch, Tucumcari will discuss drought planning, marketing, and integrating Criollo cattle. • Quivira Coalition Conference - also at Embassy Suites in Albuquerque and running Nov 8-10th. In particular, Jim Gerrish's workshop on managing grazing lands is all day the 8th, just before the SWGLA annual meeting.  The conference also features some fabulous speakers such as Bill McKibben and Bill DeBuys ("Bill Squared").
